Constructor Series

NORDOCK® designed the Constructor Series Mechanical Levelers exclusively for the construction industry. It is intended to be a cost-effective alternative for even the toughest loading dock in addition to its being easy to install. Its features include easy release activation, capacity ratings for 25,000 – 45,000 lbs., two heavy-duty dock bumpers, welded structural side guards, security night locks, and an ergonomic walk-down lip extension. Because of its open-frame design, it is easy to clean the pit area.

Industrial Series

NORDOCK® Industrial Series Mechanical Levelers have an established record proving their ease of operation, strength, and reliability. This Series features soft activation and easy release initiation. They are also equipped with a simple release hold-down with a limitless float and full-yielding walkout lip extension that provide for smooth, proficient operation. In addition, this Series includes an exclusive lip lug and header plate design.

Heavy Metal Series

The foremost standard for the NORDOCK® Heavy Metal Series Mechanical Levelers is their strength and reliability in order to provide matchless service. They are designed to feature simple operation, dependability, and strength with an easy release. Its standard features include NORDOCK’s exclusive auto-sensing holdown and a full yieldable walk-down lip extension and also comes equipped with more customary performance features than other comparable products.

The Constructor™ Series of the NORDOCK® Mechanical Levelers features easy release activation and is intended to be the cost effective alternative built for the toughest loading dock.

Affordable and easy-to-install

The Constructor™ Series is designed for the construction industry exclusively.  This series offers a high quality and easy-to-install dock leveler that is also affordable and cost effective.  In addition to capacity ratings from 25,000 – 45,000 lbs., these levelers also come with two heavy-duty dock bumpers as well as standard characteristics featuring security night locks, welded structural side guards, and ergonomic walk-down lip extension.  The pit area is easy to clean because of the open-frame design.  Finally, the exclusive “Guaranteed to Outperform” Warranty comes with these Constructor Series Levelers.

Constructed for the toughest, roughest loading dock

Advanced, superior strength is provided by this leveler’s platform structure that has continuous welds at hinge tubes and the header plate as well as a 33% dual side beam to deck weld pattern.  The frame is constructed of five hinge connections, at least five solid steel rear supports, and a full width rear hinge rod.  The lip and deck plates as well as the beam sections and lugs are built of at least 50,000 – 55,000 PSI yield material.

Activated by easy release

The operator releases the holdown at the back of the platform until the deck is elevated and stopped.  He then walks the platform down until the standard 16” lip extends onto the truck bed and connects 12” below and above floor level.  While the truck is loaded, the deck floats up and down.

The NORDOCK® Industrial™ Series Mechanical Dock Levelers have proven performance with reliability, strength, and ease of operation.  This series of dock levelers are equipped with a simple release hold-down with limitless float and full yielding walkout lip extension for proficient and smooth operation as well as an exclusive lip lug and header plate design.

Toughest loading dock equipment

Maximum strength is provided by a platform that is one complete welded structure with continuous welds at the header place, beam, and lug connections.  The lip and deck plates, the lugs, and the beam sections are built with 50,000 – 55,000 PSI yield material.

Additional deck plate support is provided by welded side guards and a standard center deck beam.  The continuous back hinge offers 4” side-to-side tilt with no pinch point.

Easy release initiation

The equipment operator frees the holdown at the back of the platform until the deck is lifted and stopped.  By walking down the platform, the operator lip is extended onto the truck bed.  During loading, the deck floats up and down.  The standard 16” lip lengthens until it connects the bed of the truck 12” above and below floor level.

A new standard for simple operation, reliability, and strength

Where strength and reliability is a foremost standard, the NORDOCK® Heavy-Metal™ Mechanical Dock Leveler is designed to provide matchless service.  It comes equipped with standard features including the NORDOCK’s  exclusive auto-sensing holdown and a full yieldable walk-down lip extension that makes it the simplest and smoothest mechanical leveler.  In addition, it comes equipped with more customary performance features than any other similar product.

It’s all in the name

The Heavy-Metal™ Series lives up to its name.  Maximum strength is achieved by a platform that is a centralized welded structure with continuous welds at the header plate, hinge tubes, and the beam all constructed of at least 50,000 – 55,000 PSI yield material.  Additional support to the deck plate is provided by welded side guards while 4” of side-to-side tilt without a pinch point is provided by the fixed rear hinge.
This Series Leveler comes equipped with more standard performance features than any other comparable leveler.  These features include an integral maintenance strut, retracting solid steel deck stops, end loading control, working range toe guards, and night security locks.
